Solution
The lid is falling while pour-
ing. (Enamel Perkomax)
Please make sure, that the nose of the lid is on the same side as the handle.
The water is not boiling.
Please note the minimum filling level of the respective Percolator (see
table.)
My coffee is not strong
enough.
1. The boiling time should be at least 12 min.
2. Please add an adequate quantity of coffee to the basket (ca. 8-9 tsp),
maximum level just below the upper end of the tube in the basket.
My coffee/tea is boiling
over.
Please note that the maximum filling level of the respective Percolator
(see table.)
How do I know, that my
coffee/tea is boiling?
As soon as the water is boiling, you will hear the sound very clearly. You
must not remove the lid during the boiling process as very hot water
flows out of the tube.
Warranty
Under proper use, a warranty period of two years will apply to your Petromax Perkomax from the date
of purchase. This does not cover wear parts. If you cannot use your Petromax Percolator properly due
to a defect in material or workmanship, you are entitled to a warranty repair. Contact your retailer for
that purpose.
