Caution!
Avoid skin contact with the hot
metal plates as well as the back housing
near the plates otherwise you could get
burnt!
•
To protect the power cable from dama-
ge, make sure it does not come into contact
with the hot straightening plates. Do not pull
the power plug out of the socket outlet by
the cable, or wrap it around the appliance
for storage purposes.

The power cable can not be replaced. If
the power cable is damaged, the appliance
must be disposed of.
•
Incorrect repairs may result in considera-
ble hazards for the user.
•
Packaging material e.g. plastic bags
should be kept out of the reach of children.
Start-up
Connect the power plug and switch on the
appliance by pressing the ON/OFF button
.
The current temperature of the ceramic coated
heating plates is indicated in the display.
Use the +/- buttons to increase or reduce the
temperature in exact 10 °C steps.
The temperature of the ceramic coated heating
plates can be set between 130 and 230 °C.
The hot appliance can be put down on a resi-
stant, level surface.
After the straightener is switched on, it will heat
up automatically to 180 °C.
