The Leg Support can assist with raising a recumbent patient out of the bed. To do so, it is placed around the
patient's legs and closed from the back to the front with the Velcro closure. Joining the legs can facilitates
rotation out of the bed.

The Leg Support Extension allows the Leg Support to be extended by 500 mm, from 1400 mm to 1900 mm. Any
required length can be achieved with additional extensions. Before using the Leg Support Extension, please verify
that it is safe and suitable for the application.

The Petermann Leg Support is a Class I Medical Device and meets the EU-Regulation 2017/745 of
the European Parliament and Council dated 05.04.2017 for medical devices, also called MDR.

Quality management systems applicable to the design and development, production and
distribution of aids for people of limited mobility.

Cleaning, care and disinfection
The product doesn't require any special maintenance. It can be machine washed at 60°C and dried at low
temperatures (45° – 50 C). We recommend washing with mild detergents. The use of cleaning agents with
bleaching ingredients or other chemical laundry additives, also as fabric softeners may lead to permanent
deterioration of the product properties.
When necessary, we recommend wipe disinfection with the product Trionic
®
(DGHM/VAH approval, further
information upon request). As alternatives to our proven disinfectant Trionic
®
, we can also recommend the following
