Update the /etc/mts/defaults file
Edit the file and change the MTS VERSION line to be:
MTS_VERSION JETSTREAM 8500 2.2.4
# JETSTREAM version
2.2.4 was our version of software; check the version you are using.

Set up mtsrd ports on the AIX
Each JETSTREAM port must be configured on a different TCP port via smit,
type:
smit
Followed by selecting ‘Devices’, ‘ Communication’, ‘Specialix MTS’, ‘Add
Control Device’. Enter TCP/IP port number 10000.
Then ‘add a block of TTY ports’ with login set to enabled.
Attach a terminal to one of the JETSTREAM’s ports and you should see a
login.
