Cipher Suite Field Descriptions
The /TLS cipher suite is used to encrypt data between the IOLAN and the client. You can specify up
to five cipher groups.
The following buttons are available:
Validate Peer
Certificate
Enables/disables peer validation between the DynDNS.org server and the
IOLAN. This may be desirable, since the DynDNS user name and password are
sent from the Terminal Server to the DynDNS server when the IP address needs
to be updated and when an account refresh is performed. Account refreshes are
done periodically to ensure that DynDNS accounts do not auto-delete should
the IP address change infrequently. This parameter will only take effect if
HTTPS
is selected as the connection method.
Default:
Disabled
Validation Criteria
