4. Assembly and Operation

•
To prepare the pump and the ram for operation, remove the dust cover from both the hose coupler (3) and the
ram coupler (4). Connect the hose (2) to the ram (8). Select the appropriate attachment (5) and assemble onto
the plunger (6).
•
When using the extension tubes, never mount the shortest tube in the middle but mount them at the end.
•
Close the release valve (1) by turning it clockwise until snug. Never over-tighten. Operate the handle so as to
extend the plunger and continue pumping until the desired operation is complete.
NOTE:
Before operating the unit, loosen the air vent valve (9) by turning it in an anticlockwise direction. This may
improve pumping efficiency. When the unit is not in use, close the air vent valve to avoid oil leakage. Do
not close the air vent valve unless the ram is fully retracted.
5. Cleaning and Maintenance

Store your
AHJ10T
in a dry place with the release valve opened.
•
After prolonged use, change the oil inside the pump. Open the pump system and the release valve, and empty all
oil. Close the release valve, refill with oil (± 500g) and close the pump system. Please use appropriate oil.
