TROUBLESHOOTING
In the following section you will find explanations and possible troubleshooting for the alarm messages
shown on the display (this page) or other phenomena (next page).
Alarm message
Possible cause
Suggestions
Tubes are inapplicable or not posi-
tioned properly.
Use the tubes of the Precellys lysis kits offered by
PEQLAB. Reposition the tubes on the holder.
The indented plate is not centred or
placed even.
Reposition the indented plate.
The toric joint is not positioned or
positioned improperly.
Reposition the toric joint.
The indented plate is damaged.
Replace the indented plate.
The toric joint is dirty or damaged. Clean the toric joint or replace it.
Pressure alarm
The vacuum is still not established
properly.
Turn off the system and contact the TECHNICAL SU-
PORT at PEQLAB.
The security cover is not locked
properly.
Check that nothing prevents the cover from closing.
Press cover and ensure that the handle is locked prop-
erly.
Top alarm
The detection system is faulty.
Turn off the system and contact the TECHNICAL SUP-
PORT at PEQLAB.
Err speed sensor
Speed regulation system or detec-
tion system is faulty.
Turn off the system and contact the technical service at
PEQLAB.
Engine temperature has reached
the safety limit.
Do not switch off the system so that the motor ventila-
tion can work.
Ensure air openings and the cooling fan are not
blocked up.
If the alarm is still on after 30 min of cooling, contact
the TECHNICAL SUPPORT at PEQLAB.
Over temp wait!
The temperature detection system is
faulty.
Turn off the system and contact the TECHNICAL SUP-
PORT at PEQLAB.
Power supply is not suitable and
wrong setting of the power input
respectively.
Make sure that the power input filter on the back of
the device matches the voltage range delivered by
your local mains supply.
Err power supply
No synchronization between unit
and power supply.
Turn off the system and contact TECHNICAL SUPPORT
at PEQLAB.
