First Power Up
Power on and Update Software
ONE
Connect to your wireless
Click on the wireless icon to
connect to your wireless
network
If you have a wired network,
you may also connect your
computer with a network
cable.
TWO
Update your system
software
Open the terminal window
and enter two commands to
update your system. First:
sudo apt update
<enter>
Once the upgrade is complete,
type:
sudo apt upgrade
<enter>
Note that the Raspbian
operating system is case
sensitive.
This process may take up to 30
minutes.
Enter the command
exit
to
close the terminal window
when the process is complete.
