NOTES:
Best results are achieved with freshly washed and dried hair.
If you style the bottom sections first, it is recommended to pin up the
overlying hair.
Styling curls with the hair curler
1. First comb your hair to make it smooth. Separate a section of hair
of 1.5–2.5 cm (
figure A
). Do not try to style bigger sections of
hair at once!
2. Keep in mind that the styling appliance must be positioned on the
hair in such a way that the opening of the curl chamber points
towards the head. However, the appliance should not be placed
directly on the scalp, but approx. 2–3 cm away from the hairline.
3. Position the appliance on the section of hair that you want to curl
first. The section must be straight and neatly placed through the
centre of the hair guide (
figures B + C
).

As soon as the hair has been positioned, release the section of hair
and press the start/release lever so that the overhanging hair can
automatically be drawn into the curl chamber.
5. Hold the appliance still, press and hold the start/release lever until
beeps are emitted, indicating that the procedure will soon be com
pleted. You will then hear three short beeps in succession. These
indicate that the time is up, that you may release the start/release
lever and remove the hair curler from your hair. To release a perfect
curl, carefully move the appliance away from your head (
fig. D
)!
In order to fix the curl, allow it to cool for one minute.
