Updating the System Driver
To update the system driver, follow the procedure described below for any board of the
CP380 family.
•
Please insert the disk “Windows NT Driver Disk for CP380“.
•
From the start menu, choose the option
Run…
. Under the option
Open:
, enter
the path for the
SETUP.EXE
file on the installation disk provided or click
Browse…
. Confirm the selection and follow the instructions of the installation
program.
•
The installation program will start.
•
In the window "Install Options", choose “Update driver and language libraries“
and confirm the selection with OK
•
System drivers, API-DLL as well as high level language libraries, demo pro-
grams, and test programs will all be updated.
•
Reboot your computer.

Changing the Board Settings
You can correct a false entry of the serial number by the following method.
•
Please insert the disk “Windows NT Driver Disk for CP380“
•
From the start menu, choose the option
Run…
. Under the option
Open:
, enter
the path for the
SETUP.EXE
file on the installation disk provided or click
Browse…
. Confirm the selection and follow the instructions of the installation
program
•
The installation program will start
•
In the window "Install Options", choose “Update settings of an installed board“
and confirm the selection with OK
•
Follow the setup program instructions
•
Reboot your computer
2.3 Uninstall
2.3.1
Uninstall a Single Board
With the help of the install and uninstall program included with the disk "Windows NT
Driver Disk for CP380", you can remove individual boards from the Windows registry.
The individual components such as the system driver, API-DLL, and the high level lan-
guage libraries are not removed by using this method.

Please insert the disk “Windows NT Driver Disk for CP380“
•
From the start menu, choose the option
Run…
. Under the option
Open:
, enter
the path for the
SETUP.EXE
file on the installation disk provided or click
Browse…
. Confirm the selection and follow the instructions of the installation
program
•
The installation program will start
•
In the window "Install Options", choose „Uninstall a single board“ and confirm
the selection with OK
•
Choose the board you want to remove from the Windows registry
