2.1.1
CPCI Signaling Voltage
The primary side of the PCI-to-PCI bridge, i.e. the CPCI side, has buffers for 3.3V signaling but
works equally well in a 5V signaling environment.
The secondary (PMC) side of the PCI-to-PCI bridge may be configured either for a 3.3V or a
5V signaling environment. Please refer to chapter 3.2 Jumper Settings.
Note:
Only one key is present on each carrier board, either 3.3V or 5V,
depending on the signaling used. The two PMC modules must both be
set to the same voltage, i.e. either both 3.3V or both 5V.
