3 - OPTIONAL INSTALLATION
Connecting your Reverse Osmosis System to Refrigerator Icemaker / Water
Dispenser
CAUTION:
If you are connecting this unit to your refrigerator/icemaker with initial RO installation, wait to
turn on the icemaker until the post-polishing filter has been flushed according to Step 12.
CAUTION:
Use plastic tubing and fittings. Do not use copper tubing or brass fittings.
NOTE:
For optimum performance, it is recommended that the distance between the RO system and the
refrigerator icemaker/water dispenser be no greater than 3 m (10 feet). At distances greater than 3
m, the water pressure from the system may not be adequate to deliver water to the refrigerator.
