Step 1: Install the USB driver

Installation on Windows 98 & 98SE

The USB driver on the supplied CD-ROM (S-SW47) is exclusively for Windows 98 and 98SE. Windows 2000/
ME/XP users don't need to install the USB driver.
1. Insert the enclosed CD-ROM (S-SW47) into your CD-ROM drive.
2. Connect the camera to the PC with the USB cable.
3. The 

"Add New Hardware Wizard"

 will appear on screen as

shown on the right. Click on "Next".

4. Select "Search for the best driver for your device". Click on "Next".

5. Select "CD-ROM drive" and "Specify a location" as shown on the

right. Click on "Next".
Follow the on-screen instructions to complete the installation.

6. After the USB driver has been installed, restart your computer.

Installation on MAC OS 9.2

For Mac OS 9.2 or higher, the computer will automatically recognize
the digital camera and load its own USB drivers.
