PRESSURE TESTING COLORVISION LIGHT ASSEMBLY
WINTERIZING COLORVISION™ LIGHT ASSEMBLY
1.
Drain the pool water level down below the ColorVision Light.
2.
Remove the ColorVision light lens.
3.
Blow out the water line.
4.
Install ColorVision light lens.
5.
Remove the eyeball from the lens.
6.
Install the rubber expansion plug in center hole of lens. Be sure to use a
straight wall expansion plug to seal on the underside of the lens.
To pressure test the ColorVision Light assembly, you must seal the GloBrite
®
Light conduit
with either an installed GloBrite light or rubber expansion plug. Caution: If using a
GloBrite Light to seal the electrical conduit, it is advised to use an old failed GloBrite Light
as the pressure testing may damage a functioning GloBrite light.
To seal the ColorVision Light assembly you can use the gunite cover with the installed
o-ring or you can install the lens with an installed o-ring and plug the center hole with
a rubber expansion plug. Note: If using a rubber expansion plug, it must be a straight
walled plug in order to seal properly on the underside of the lens.
