4.7.2 General Setting

Half Shape/Full Shape

To decide whether the handwrit-

ing result of alphanumeric is rec-
ognized as one-byte ASCII code or 
double-bytes code.

Auto Load

Auto execute Penpower RF Jr. 

handwriting system when the Win-
dows starts.

Pad Direction

Set the orientation of the RF Jr. pad as Vertical, Horizontal (Right-Hand) 

or Horizontal (Left-Hand).

Sound

Pronounce the character in Mandarin or Cantonese after recognition.

Notes: When you switch to the GBK (Simplified Chinese) version, you 

will see “Traditional to Simplified” option. Check it to recongize 

traditional writing to simplified characters.
