6. Splice the wire from Waveguide IN + to the brown wire of the Pressure Switch
Assembly.
7. Splice the wire from Waveguide IN - to the blue wire of the Pressure Switch
Assembly.
8. Secure the Pressure Assembly to the equipment rack.
9. Remove the protective plastic cap from the threaded pressure connector.
10. Connect a line from the air pressure manifold to the pressure connector. The
thread specification for the pressure connector is ¼-18 NPT. Use pipe thread
compound or Teflon tape on the threads.
11. Tighten the connection at the pressure connector and ensure that there is no
leakage.
3.3.6 Battery Temperature Transducer
Locate the Battery Temperature Transducer Assembly (part number
087-0444-01). This assembly converts temperature to DC voltage. The
transducer is calibrated to read 0 volts for -40
C and 10 V for +60
C. The scale
of comparison is constant, with one degree Celsius equal to 100 mV;
see Table 3.F
