CONGRATULATIONS ON YOUR SELECTION OF A PELTOR PRODUCT
Your new hearing protector is very easy to use. Still, we recommend that you read
these instructions carefully to get the most out of your new Peltor product – top
comfort and the desired protection and functionality.
(A) WHAT IS WHAT
1. Collapsible, thin headband
to be worn snugly over the top of the head, or in
combination with a helmet.
2. Individually sprung headband wires
of stainless steel provide an even distri-
bution of pressure around the ears.
3. Low, two-point fasteners
and easy height adjustment with no protruding
parts.
4. Soft, wide ear cushions
ensure low pressure, an effective seal and individual
comfort. Pressure-relief channels quickly restore pressure against the eardrum.
Easy-to-replace hygiene kit.
5. Shell with smooth inside
that is easy to clean.
(B) Hygiene kit
Easy-to-replace hygiene kit consisting of two attenuation cushions and snap-in ear
cushions. Replace at least twice a year to ensure constant attenuation, hygiene
and comfort.
(C) INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
(C:1) Slide out the shells and place the hearing protector over your ears so the ear
cushions enclose the ears completely and fit snugly against the head.
(C:2) Adjust the height of the cups for a comfortable fit while holding the headband
flat against your head.
(C:3) The headband should lie across the top of the head.
IMPORTANT USER INFORMATION
The hearing protector must be put on, adjusted, cleaned and maintained in ac-
cordance with the instructions in this manual.
• Wear the hearing protector 100% of the time you spend in noisy environments
for full protection.
• Clean the outside of the unit regularly with soap and warm water. Do not im-
merse in fluid!
• Do not store the hearing protector in temperatures exc55 °C, for ex-
ample on a dashboard or windowsill.
• Certain chemical substances may be harmful to this product. Contact the manu-
facturer for more information.
• The hearing protector and particularly the ear cushions can degenerate over
time and should be inspected regularly to ensure that there are no cracks and
sound leakage.
• The fitting of hygiene covers to the cushions may affect the acoustic perfor
