ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS (CONT)
Health o meter® Professional Scales recommends that assembly is performed by two
people.
Warning: Do not drop scale, as this can permanently damage the load cells.
Caution: Do not insert the batteries into the display head until it is mounted onto the scale.
1. Stand the scale in its vertical position
with the platform closed, as shown.
2. Screw the four feet into the underside of
the platform. Completely hand tighten
the feet, then turn them back 1-½ full
turns. This allows for proper load cell
operation. Ensure that the feet are not
completely tightened into the platform.
3. Using the handles on the end of the
platform, lower the scale so it lies flat,
with the feet on the floor.
Warning: Do
not drop scale, as this can
permanently damage the load cells.
Adjust the feet to level the scale. Each
foot should be completely hand tightened
then back the feet out 1-½ full turns. Be
certain that the feet are not completely
tightened into the platform.
4. Open the scale to its operational position
by loosening the two black knobs on
each side of the scale. Loosen the knobs
by turning them counterclockwise until
the rod pops out completely as shown.
5. Lift the handrail to its veritical position.
Lock the handrail in place by pushing the
knob back in and tightening completely
by turning the knobs clockwise.
Ensure that the
spacer spring is on
the bolt of the foot
before inserting into
the platform.
