Preparation for mounting
Preparing the recess
• Determine the location for the recess in relation to the hob, either in
the ceiling or in the chimney.
• The hood is fitted with a temporary suspension system with sliders
to make it easier to mount. To use this system, the recess must
have a suspension flange to suspend it temporarily (maximum
height 115 mm).
Attention : the flange must be sufficiently strong to
support the cooker hood across 4 points.
• The ceiling/chimney must be fitted with a bar that has a minimum
thickness of 36 mm to which the extraction hood can be attached
with the 4 screws. Remember to check the position of the mounting
holes.
• Preferably fix the bars so the short sides are parallel to each other.
