To maintain the surface finishes, simply wipe occasionally with a mild detergent on soft damp cloth. Dry using soft
cloth, never use abrasive cleaners or chemical household cleaners avoid contact with concentrated bleach.

MAINTENANCE
It is a good idea to periodically clean the filters so as to avoid the accumulation of debris and limestone residues,
which in time could cause a gradual decrease of the water flow.
REMOVAL OF THE SHUT-OFF DEVICE
(Fig 2) Remove the plate (1) loosen the locking screw (2) and remove the handle (3). Loosen the screwdown (4) and if
necessary replace it. Proceed in reverse to reassemble the whole unit.
REPLACEMENT OFTHE THERMOSTATIC CARTRIDGE
(Fig 2 In case of malfunction to the thermostatic element loosen the grub screw on the lower part of tap (5) and
remove the group together with the handle (6). Clean the filters of the cartridge of impurities and limestone residues
or if necessary replace the whole unit. Clean the sliding areas of ‘O’ rings before reassembling the cartridge.
INSTALLATION AND SERVICING:
Flush out supply pipes before fitting the shower valve, as debris will prevent the shower valve working to its optimum
level. (To prevent debris damaging the shower valve we recommend that you fit the filters provided (These may already
be pre-installed). The shower valve may require servicing from time to time to retain optimum performance. Therefore
we recommend the fitting of service valves upstream of the valve to allow for servicing of the shower valve. We recom-
mend the purchase of PB300 isolating valves. Any standard sealant may be used this product in accordance with manu-
facturers recommendations.
PLUMBING RECOMMENDATIONS:
The shower valve mixer ports are 3/4 BSP female threads. The hot supply should be on the left hand side and the cold
on the right hand side as viewed from the front of the shower valve. The shower valve body has been marked Hot and
Cold. Large runs of pipe work will cause frictional loss of pressure. The recommended pipe work from both cylinder and
water tank should be 22mm minimum. If more than one shower valve is installed the minimum feed from tank and cylin-
der should be 28mm, reducing to 22mm within half a meter of the shower valve. (Ensure adequate supply of both hot
and cold water can be maintained). The shower valve can be used in conjunction with most makes of pumps on the mar-
ket. Installations where a pump is required, install pump before shower mixer inlets.
Turn the water on and verify the functioning of the mixer as well as the tightness of all its components.
