NOTE

: All material used for installation should be approved, suitable and 

installed properly for the intended application. 

Installation Instructions

1.

  Remove cover of thermostat from base.

2.

  Disconnect the power source.

3. 

Locate in an area with good air circulation (no outside walls).

4. 

Install the thermostat approximately 5 feet above floor level. 

5.

  Replace the cover.

To avoid electrical shock or damage to 
equipment, disconnect all power before 
installing or servicing.  

Ensure the 1/2-inch conduit opening on the end of 
the enclosure is installed downward. With cover and 
NEMA 4X conduit fittings (not included) properly 
installed, the enclosure will meet NEMA 4X rain-
tight ratings. 

NOTE

: A drip-loop should be provided 

to prevent water and other liquids from entering the 
thermostat housing. Failure to use suitable watertight 
connections could result in thermostat failure.
