This product shall be in a 2RU
chassis. It shall have 1 input and a
doublewide accessory plug-in module
port for use with present and future
Peavey MMA modules. The front panel
shall include a master output level
control. Front panel indicators shall
include power, signal presence at the
amplifier, and SPS
™
. This amplifier
shall have a muting function where the
input module has priority over the
amplifier input. Outputs shall include
one direct and three transformer
isolated. The unit shall have 120 VAC
60 Hz . The power switch shall be on
the rear panel along with the
detachable IEC cord, and a fuse
holder.
This unit shall be constructed of
Steel. The chassis dimensions shall be
two standard EIA rack units height and
width (with included rack ears). The
depth shall be such that the unit will
fit on a standard 12" deep rack shelf.
There shall be one bridging input with
3-pins of a 5-pin Euro-type connector
and an input sensitivity control on the
rear panel. This sensitivity control
shall range from Off to 100 mV with 1 V
at the 12 o’clock position.
The module port shall be capable of
accommodating 1 single- or double-
width MMA module. The signal from
an input module shall be mixed
through a rear panel input level
control with the signal from the
amplifier input to drive the amplifier.
When the input signal to an input
module commands a mute function,
the bridging input shall be muted.
When an MMA output module is used,
its signal is derived from the bridging
input.
A front panel master level control
shall control the output signal level of
the power amplifier. Remote master
level control capability shall be
included via the other 2 pins of the 5-
pin Euro-type connector. The capability
to insert an external device shall be
included via two RCA jacks. A Low Cut
switch shall be included to insert a 4th
order high-pass filter with a cut-off
frequency of 60 Hz into the system.
The amplifier shall have 150 Watts of
power. This model shall have a direct
4 Ohm output, and 3 transformer
isolated outputs 70 Volt, 25 Volt, and
8 Ohm. This amplifier model shall
include clipping protection via SPS
™
.
The unit shall be called the Peavey
Architectural Acoustics Division model
IPA 1502.
