Powering the Receiver 

 

Install (2) AA batteries in BATTERY COMPARTMENT (1), observing polarity.  To preserve 

 

battery  live always turn the Peavey Assisted Li

stening Receiver off when it is not in use.  When 

 

the sound becomes weak or distorted, replace the batteries.  The number of hours of operation 

 

for batteries is as follows: carbon zinc type battery: 10-12; alkaline battery (recommended): 17-20 

 

hours. 

Using the Peavey Assisted Listening Systems Earphones 

 

Plug the included earphones into the EARPHONE JACK (2) on top of the receiver.  The ear pads 

 

can be ordered separately.  However, they can be replaced and reused after being washed in a 

 

mild detergent, rinsed and air dried.
