ix. CHANGING MOTOR VOLTAGE
The VX141MSPROR motor has the ability to accept power from a 115V
and 230V power source. By default the motor is set to accept power
from a traditional 115V power source. For best motor performance run
the motor using 230V.
To change the voltage of the motor,
perform the following steps:
1. Disconnect the electrical supply.
2. Remove the lock hardware as shown
on right.
3. Toggle the voltage select on the dual
voltage switch box to the desired
voltage.
4. Re-lock the voltage select using the
lock hardware.
WARNING: Turning on the
saw, while the motor is set at
115V, to a 230V electrical power
supply will cause irreparable
damage to the motor.
