
4. Measurement Operation
1. Insert the microphone of your sound level meter in the
calibration port of the PeakTech 8010. Make sure that the
microphone is fully inserted into the calibration port.
2. Select the required sound level for testing (94 or 114dB).
3. Now read the measured value on the display of your sound
level meter from.
4. If the measured value does not match with the calibration
signal, you can readjust the sound level meter. For this
purpose refer to the manual of your sound level meter or ask
your dealer for it.
5. After every measurement with the sound level calibrator, it
should always be turned off, by choosing the "OFF" position
of the selector switch.
