Battery replacement
When the battery voltage drops below a sufficient level, the
icon will appear in the display. When this
happens, please replace the battery.
Before doing so, switch the function selector to OFF and disconnect the test leads. Use a screwdriver to
open the battery compartment cover. Replace the used batteries with two new 1.5 V AAA batteries. Close
the battery compartment cover and fasten the screw.
For the disposal of batteries, the 2006/66/EC
directive of the European Parliament applies. Due to the
contained pollutants, batteries must not be disposed of as household waste. They must be given to
collection points designed for that purpose.
In order to comply with the EU directive 2012/19/EU we take our devices back. We either re-use them or
give them to a recycling company which disposes of the devices in line with law.
If you have any questions, please contact PCE Instruments.
