2. For the marks that do not align with a wall stud, use a screwdriver to install an anchor into the
wall. Place the tip of the anchor at the mark and use the screwdriver to both rotate the anchor
(clockwise) and firmly push it into the wall. The anchor will drive itself into the wall like a
screw. Continue rotating the anchor until its wide end is even with the wall surface. Do not
over-tighten.
3. Use the screwdriver to secure a provided metal screw into each installed anchor. Rotate the
screw clockwise until the screw head is about 3/8 inch from the wall.
4. Attached the cord cover (H) to the base of the fixture by rotating it clockwise to engage the threads.
Finger tighten only.
5. Insert the Harp (F) into the Saddle (G) by sliding the two end caps away from the ends and then
squeezing the two harp ends together, positioning them onto the saddle (G) and then releasing the
arms that the harp ends engage the saddle. The caps should slide back over the saddle to hold the
harp in place.
6. Unscrew the Finial (E) from the Harp (F) and place a desired shade (not included) over the secured
Harp (F) so that the threaded stud located at the top of the harp extends through the hole at the top
center of the shade.
7. Re-attach the Finial (E) and
hand tighten to secure the
shade.
8. Insert a bulb - MAX (TYPE A)
STANDARD 60-watt
(excluded) or a 13-watt
compact fluorescent bulb
(included in box for lamps
sold in the state of California)
into the Socket.
9. Lift the sconce so that the
two keyholes cutouts located
on the back of the Mounting
Plate (of the fixture base)
align with and engage the
protruding screw heads.
Gently lower the fixture so
that the screws support the
full weight. If the fixture
appears loose, remove by
lifting and pulling off the
screw heads and then using
a screwdriver tighten the
screw heads a bit and
reattach the fixture.
10. Plug into the proper electrical outlet and test the fixture
