Checking the charging Level
To
check
the
battery
charge
level
of
the
PT
‐
80,
the
battery
monitor
is
shown
on
the
Android
Top
navigation
bar.
Power LED Behavior on the Docking station
The
Power
LED
will
only
shine
when
the
Power
adapter
is
plugged
in.
Green

No
special
skills
are
required
to
setup
the
PT
‐
80
device.
Follow
this
User’s
Manual
and
the
Quick
Start
Manual.
Starting the Device
Start
the
device
by
pressing
the
power
button
on
the
top
of
the
device.
Shutting Down the PT-80
The
device
should
be
shut
down
in
the
following
way:
Use
the
menu
in
Android
OS.
Hold
the
power
button
for
3
seconds
then
select
Power
Off/Shutdown.
(recommended
when
possible).
Should
you
be
unable
to
shut
the
device
down
using
the
above,
you
can
hold
the
power
button
on
the
top
side
of
the
device
down
for
more
than
10
seconds.
The
device
will
consequently
shut
down
immediately,
without
waiting
for
open
applications
to
close.
Reset
can
be
performed
by
holding
the
power
button
on
the
top
side
of
the
device
for
five
(5)
seconds.
Using
the
physical
power
button
to
turn
off
the
device
is
not
considered
a
"clean"
shut
down,
and
is
thus
not
recommended
unless
completely
necessary
because
it
can
harm
your
device.
Power Saving
The
Power
saving
settings
in
the
PT
‐
80
tablet
are
preset
to
optimize
the
battery
run
‐
time.
Using the Cameras
The
two
built
‐
in
cameras
allow
you
to
take
snapshots
or
video
of
items
facing
the
backside
of
the
PT
‐
80
device
and
from
the
display
side.
