3. Functional description
The Pactosafe is designed for the handling of hazardous waste.
The waste is placed in a funnel (

), which is covered by an endless PE foil (

).
When pressing the foot pedal, the open end of the PE foil (

) with the waste inside,
is welded together.
The welded bag is then fed down (

) into the hazardous waste container (

), while
at the same time a new PE foil is fed in so that further waste can be packaged.
Should a bag be required that is longer than the length preset on the front panel,
press the foot pedal until the waste has passed the welding bars.
Pactosafe does not release any hazardous substances, gases or other emissions during welding.
Complete incineration of the foil will yield water, carbon dioxide (CO
2
) and energy only.
Storange/transportation :
Pactosafe may only be stacked two in height.
