4. Operation of the device
All operations should be carried out gently so as not to damage the components.
Make sure your hands are dry before operating the unit.
We recommend indoor use of the device.
4.1 Charging the battery
Charge the battery when the battery is switched off.
The battery should be fully charged before the first use of product. Several charging and
discharging cycles may be necessary to achieve full battery capacity.
Avoid excessive battery discharge. This can damage the battery or shorten its service life.
The device can heat up during charging. It is a regular occurrence and should not affect the
stability or performance of the device. Do not leave the device to be charged unattended
as this may result in fire, damage to the device or its surroundings etc.
The microphone power supply battery is charged by connecting the power cord. The
microUSB plug should be connected to the socket on the base of the microphone holder
and the USB plug to the power source (computer, laptop, powerbank, charger, etc.).
Charging diode next to the power socket lights up red. Once charged disconnect power
cable from the device and from the power source.
4.2 Bluetooth connection to music source (pairing)
Switch the microphone on. The Bluetooth pairing mode will be activated automatically
and the blue status LED will blink.
Search the source device (smartphone, tablet, laptop) for the name "
WS-858
" and pair the
devices with each other. If you need to enter a PIN code, please enter it:
0000
. After
pairing, you will hear an acknowledgement and the status LED will light blue. LED will flash
during playback.
4.3 Connecting USB memory with music
The microphone can play music in the format of MP3 and WAV files stored in an external
memory. You can connect the memory stick to the microphone via the USB port placed in
the base of the microphone.
4.4 Plugging memory card with music
The microphone can play music in the format of MP3 and WAV files stored in an memory
card. You can connect a micro SD card to the microphone by inserting it into the memory
card slot ( ) on the underside of the microphone.
4.5 Bluetooth and USB music playback control
After pairing the microphone with the source device or connecting the USB memory stick
or memory card, you can control the playback of files with the buttons located on the
handle.
You can start and stop songs by pressing the "
" button briefly, or jump to the previous
or next song by pressing the
,
button briefly.
Short presses of - or + decrease or increase the volume of the built-in speaker by one level.
Longer holding down any of these buttons will change the speaker volume until it is
released or reaches an extreme value.
The maximum volume level is indicated by a sound signal.
