8. Take the two solar panel connection cables (supplied with and connected to the underside
of the solar panel) and:
• Connect the red marked cable by placing the U-shaped connector under the Solar con-
nector (+) knob and turn it to secure tight.
• Connect the black cable by placing the U-shaped connector under the Solar connector
(-) knob and turn it to secure tight.
For the 65 W solar panel only it is recommended that it is further supported with an attached
steel/plastic post, driven (foot pressed) into the ground.
To attach the post:
1. Using your foot, push the post down into the ground adjacent to where the energizer is going
to be positioned.
2. Use a cable tie to join the post to the solar panel to provide the support required.
