ASSEMBLY AND BATTERY REPLACEMENT INSTRUCTIONS

ASSEMBLY (Fig.1,2,3,4)
•
Gently remove all parts from the package and lay them out on a smooth surface.
•
Choose the desired location on the pole.
Note: The metal rings accommodate pole diameter up to 2.25~5.5 inches.
•
Thread the metal rings into the slots of the lamp holder (Part D), do not tighten the
screwing part on metal ring at this time (Fig.1).
•
Attach the solar flag light on the pole, Close and tighten both metal rings using
the screwdriver ( not include) ,then the light can be stay in place (Fig.2).
•
Adjust the lamp head (Part A) to desired position by loosening the adjusting handle. Tilt
the solar panel (Part B) to an angle similar to the pattern of the sun (Fig.3).
Note: Please remove the clear mylar before using.
•
Turn the switch to “ON” position before working (Fig.4).
Note: Do not press on the surface of the solar panel because this can cause
damage to solar module.
OPERATIONAL INSTRUCTIONS
•
After assembling, take the light to direct sunshine that allows the rechargeable battery
to reach its maximum capacity. Ensure the light is in full sunlight for 8 hours. The unit
will then automatically light up at dusk.
CHANGING BATTERIES (Fig.5)
•
Switch off the product.
•
Turn the solar flag light upside down and remove four set screws from the battery
compartment (Part C) of solar flag light.
•
Open the solar panel (Part B) and remove the old batteries. Install the new batteries
into the battery compartment (Part C). Ensure the batteries are placed with the correct
polarity.
•
The new batteries are AA 900mAh (1.2V) Ni-MH rechargeable.
•
Restore the solar panel (Part B) back and reinstall the solar flag light onto the pole.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If light does not work, to locate the defect, please follow these steps:
Check the rechargeable battery and make sure that it is in contact to the metal plate and the polarity is correct. If the
battery is worn out, replace the battery with (3) AA 900 mAh(1.2V) Ni-MH rechargeable batteries.
Always keep the solar light distant from other night light sources, such as exterior lights. Reposition the light to avoid
close contact with other night light sources.
Make sure solar panel is clean and free of dirt and debris. If needed use a damp cloth to clean the solar panel. Do
not use any chemical or abrasive cleaner. It is important to ensure that no moisture enters into the solar light.
