The front panel consists of an LCD with backlight, a rotary encoder knob and ten female
RJ45 Ethercon

connectors for connection to 10/100/1000Mb Ethernet equipment. Each
connector has a Link Active and a PoE (Power-over-Ethernet) indicator LED.
By default, the LCD shows the switch’s soft label name, its IP address and subnet class
and, on the bottom line, whether any messages are queued pending review. If there are
no messages queued, the bottom line is blank. If the switch has not been given a soft
label (using Pathport Manager configuration software), its IP address is shown instead.
Push the rotary encoder knob to reach the Base Configuration menu, or turn the knob to
review individual port information and to enter each Port Configuration menu.

The rear panel consists of a two female RJ45 Ethercon connectors, two mini-GBIC ports
for SFP (small form pluggable) fiber cable adapters, an SD card slot and one locking
Speakon and one locking Powercon connector.
