cased on the

Grand Feu
enamel dial.
The white gold dial plate is finely hand-guilloched
with a swirling pattern, before being coated with
translucent enamel. The two «cathedral» gongs,
twice as long as their traditional counterparts, give
the minute-repeater a particularly rich and deep
sound. The novelty is accompanied by two inter-
changeable straps – one in shiny peacock blue
alligator leather; the other in shiny orange alligator
leather, both secured by a white gold fold-over
clasp.
The “cathedral” gongs
The «cathedral» gong differs from classic gongs
in terms of its extraordinary length. «Cathedral»
gongs wrap around the movement with a length
equivalent to nearly two circumferences and are
thus twice as long as classic ones. The result is a
rich tone with a particularly long reverberation.
