SETTING THE TIME
To set the time, unscrew the crown completely
(Nautilus men and Aquanaut models), pull it gen-
tly all the way out, and move the hands in either
direction. Once you have set the correct time, push
the crown home again (and screw it down). If your
watch has a date display, we advise against turning
the hands counterclockwise across midnight because
this would require a correction of the date; however,
it would not damage the calendar mechanism.
Note: If your watch has stopped running, first move the
hands clockwise until they pass 12 o’clock and the date
advances by one day (at midnight). Then set the correct
time. If it is past noon, move the hands forward beyond
12 o’clock again.
WINDING CROWN
The winding crown is used to manually wind the
watch (position 1) and to set the time (position 2 or
position 3). Nautilus men and Aquanaut models
equipped with a screw-down crown, it must be
completely unscrewed before you can perform any
adjustments.
WINDING
Your watch incorporates a self-winding movement.
The movements of your wrist set a centrifugal mass
in motion; this tensions the mainspring, which stores
the energy. When you take off your fully wound
watch, it will continue to run for at least:
- 45 hours if your watch is equipped with calibers
324 and 324 S
- 35 hours if your watch is equipped with calibers
324 S C, 324 S C2 and 26-330 S C
When it has stopped after depleting the power
reserve, it can be rewound by hand (about 10 clock-
wise turns of the crown).
