** Reload Global Timer Events **
Global Timer (power management) events are I/O events whose
occurrence can prevent the system from entering a power saving mode or
can awaken the system from such a mode. In effect, the system remains
alert for anything that occurs to a device that is configured as Enabled,
even when the system is in a power-down mode.
IRQ[3-7, 9-15], NMI
When enabled, any event o ccurring at IRQs 3 through 15 (excluding IRQ
8) turns on a system which has been powered down . The default setting is
Disabled.
Primary/Secondary IDE 1/0
When these items are enabled, the system will restart the power-saving
timeout counters when any activity is detected on any of the drives or
devices on the primary or secondary IDE channels. The default setting is
Disabled.
Floppy Disk, Serial Port, Parallel Port
When these items are enabled, the system will restart the power-saving
timeout counters when any activity is detected on the floppy disk drive,
serial ports, or the parallel port. The default setting is Disabled.
