Operating Instructions
•
Lift the lid compartment to access and open the battery cover at the bottom of the lid.
Insert 6 x AA batteries (not included).
•
On the rear of the lid compartment, turn the power ON and replace the lid compartment.
The indicator light will turn red for approx. 2 seconds.
•
To open the lid, hover your hand over the sensor window. The lid closes automatically
after 5 seconds. The lid will remain open if you continue to hover your hand over the
sensor window.
•
To open the lid manually and empty the dustbin, press the “Open” button at the
sensor window. Pressing the “Open” button will keep the lid open.
Press the “Close” button on the sensor window, allowing the lid to close manually and
resume operation.
•
In ready mode, the indicator light briefly flashes red every 8-10 seconds.
•
The indicator light flashes yellow every 8-10 seconds when batteries need to be replaced.
Safety Instructions
Before use, please carefully read the below safety points:
• Incorrect operation may result in injury or damage to the product.
• Wipe clean using a clean damp cloth.
• Avoid direct sunlight on the motion sensor window receiver.
• Do not open the lid with force.
• Do not place anything on top of the lid.
• Replace with new batteries when bin indicates.
• Do not dismantle, repair or alter the product in anyway.
•
When inserting or removing an inner plastic bin bag, remove the lid compartment
for ease of access.
