4.1. How to copy log files:
In cases the terminal has problem need to be diagnostic by Parktron engineers, please
follow the steps to obtain log files for diagnose:
Use ftp client software “FileZilla” (refer to above section for download information)
to connect to terminal (must login with the account “
parktron
” and password

”).
The log files under the directory “/log”. Log files are created by day, so for the log of
April 25
th
, 2012, the filename is “20120425.log”.
4.2. How to change terminal time zone:
Terminal time zone is normally re-configured according to shipping destination in
Parktron factory. Following the steps below to setup different time zone as required:
Connect to terminal linux OS with Putty.exe (Login ID =
parktron
& Password =
pt12885568
).
Type command “su” to change user to root (with password =
pt12885568
):
Type command "mount -o remount,rw /" to remount file system as read/write
permission:
Type command “rm /etc/localtime” to remove current time zone file.
Type command “cd /usr/shared/zoneinfo/” and then “ls” to display all the time
zone files, and select the correct time zone file:
