INSTRUCTIONS
1. Install wheel in frame. Make sure rim is correctly centered in frame.
2. Remove derailleur from derailleur hanger.
3. Thread inside shaft into derailleur mounting hole.
4. Slide indicator so tip of indicator contacts outside edge of rim
(position
A
).
5. Rotate indicator toward the hub so that the indicator is
out of the way.
6. Rotate tool 180 degrees to position
C
.
7. Rotate indicator toward the rim. If the tip of the
indicator is within 4 mm of outside edge of rim,
the hanger is aligned horizontally. If tip of indicator
is 4 mm or more away from rim, or if indicator
presses against rim, the hanger is misaligned.
Rotate indicator toward the hub. Using the
shaft of the tool as a lever to bend hanger into
alignment horizontally. Repeat checking and
bending between position
A
and
C
until clearance
is less than 4 mm.
8. After achieving correct horizontal alignment, keeping the indicator
in the same position, rotate the tool to position
B
. Rotate the
indicator so that it is pointing towards the rim. If the clearance
between the rim and tip of the indicator is less than 4 mm, the hanger
is aligned. If the clearance is greater than 4 mm, or if indicator presses
against rim at position
B
or
D
, use the shaft of the tool as a lever to bend
hanger into alignment vertically.
9. With properly aligned hanger, the tip of the indicator should just contact the
outer edge of rim at one position and have no more than 4 mm clearance at
any of the other positions. Check and align all four positions until this
is accomplished.
ANLEITUNG
1. Laufrad in Rahmen einsetzen. Stellen Sie sicher dass die Felge korrekt
im Rahmen zentriert ist.
2. Schaltwerk vom Schaltauge entfernen.
3. Welle in das Befestigungsloch des Schaltwerks einschrauben.
4. Indikator so verschieben dass die Spitze des Indikators die Außenkante der Felge berührt (Position

).
5. Indikator zur Arm hin schwenken damit der Indikator nicht im Weg ist.
6. Drehen Sie das Werkzeug um 180 Grad in Position
C
.
7. Den Indikator zur Felge drehen. Wenn die Spitze des Indikators innerhalb von 4 mm von der Außenkante der Felge sich befindet, steht
das Schaltauge horizontal ausgerichtet. Wenn die Spitze des Indikators 4 mm oder mehr von der Felge entfernt ist oder wenn der Indikator
gegen die Felge drückt, ist das Schaltauge fehlausgerichtet. Den Indikator zur Nabe hin drehen. Den Schaft des Werkzeugs als Hebel
verwenden um das Schaltauge in horizontale Ausrichtung zu biegen. Wiederholen Sie die Prüfung und das Biegen zwischen Position
A
und
C
bis das Spiel weniger als 4 mm beträgt.
8. Nachdem die korrekte horizontale Ausrichtung erreicht ist, den Indikator in der gleichen Position halten und das Werkzeug in Position
B
drehen. Den Indikator so drehen dass er zur Felge zeigt. Wenn das Spiel zwischen der Felge und der Spitze des Indikators weniger als 4 mm
beträgt, ist das Schaltauge ausgerichtet. Ist das Spiel grösser als 4 mm oder drückt der Indikator in Position
B
oder
D
gegen die Felge, verwenden
Sie den Schaft des Werkzeugs als Hebel um das Schaltauge vertikal auszurichten.
9. Bei richtig ausgerichtetem Schaltauge sollte die Spitze des Indikators an einer Position gerade die Außenkante der Felge berühren und an den
anderen drei Positionen nicht mehr als 4 mm Spiel haben. Alle vier Positionen überprüfen und ausrichten bis dies erreicht ist.
