Assembling
Remove the rechargeable bat-
tery from the device before
assembly. Insert the recharge-
able battery only once the de-
vice is completely assembled.
There is a risk of injury!
Use only original parts.
1. Unpack the device and check
for completeness.

2. Slide the motor head (2) onto the
tubular shaft of the telescopic tube
(6). Slide the motor head (2) up
to the assembly stop (18) onto the
telescopic tube (6). The position is
preset by the ixation pin (18).
Ensure that the nuts and grooves
latch into one another. See the
detailed illustration.
3. Secure the motor head (2) and the
telescopic tube (6) with the cap
nut (5). To do this, screw the cap
nut (5) in the clockwise direction
on to the thread of the
motor head mounting (17) and
tighten the cap nut (5) by hand.
Operation
Do not use the equipment
without the hand guard.
Wear suitable clothing and
work gloves when working
with the equipment.
Ensure that the equipment is
functional before each use.
The On/Off switch and the
safety switch must not be
held closed. They must switch
off the motor when on is re-
leased. Should a switch be
damaged, stop working with
the equipment. Ensure that the
mains voltage value matches
the label on the equipment.
Note noise protection and local
speciications. The use of the equip
-
ment on certain days (e.g. Sundays
and national holidays), at certain
times of day (lunch times, night time
quiet periods) or in special areas
(e.g. health resorts, clinics etc.) is
restricted or forbidden.
Adjust telescopic arm
The telescopic tube (6) can be adjusted
continuously using the clamp lever (7).

1. Open the clamp lever (7).
2. Hold the device on the handle
(8) and on the telescopic tube
(6) and change the rod length
by pushing or pulling.
3. Close the clamp lever (7)
Swivelling the cutter bar

1. Hold the blade safety bar (1) on
the bottom of the motor head (2).
2. Press the release button (
3).
3. Swivel the motor head (2) with
the blade safety bar (1) into the
desired angular position and re-
lease the release button (
3). The
motor head (2) locks back into
place again. There are 11 possi
-
ble positions.
