• Hold the device securely by the handle.
• Set the sawing speed.
• Adjust the mitre angle.
• Set the pendulum stroke position.
• Turn on the device.
• Wait until the device has reached full
speed.
• Place the bottom plate (5) on the work
-
piece.
• Slowly move the device along the
marked line, pressing the bottom plate
firmly against the workpiece.
• Do not apply too much pressure to the
device. Let the device do the work.
• Before shutting down the device, switch
it off and wait for it to come to a com-
plete standstill.
Cleaning and Servicing
Switch off the device and re-
move the battery before car-
rying out any maintenance
work.
You should have any repair and
maintenance work that is not de-
scribed in these instructions carried
out by our Service Centre. Only use
original parts.
Cleaning
The device must not be
sprayed with water or placed
in water. Otherwise there is
a risk of electric shock.
Do not use any cleaning agents or
solvents. This could damage the
device irreparably. Chemical sub
-
stances may attack the plastic parts
of the device.
• Keep the ventilation slits, motor housing
and handles of the machine clean.
Use a damp cloth or brush to do this.
Maintenance
The device is maintenance free.
Storage
• Always store the devices and accessories:
- dry.
- clean.
- protected against dust.
- out of the reach of children.
• Remove the rechargeable battery from
the device before storing the device
(see the separate operating instructions
for the battery and charger).
• The storage temperature for the battery
and the device is between 0 °C and
45 °C. Avoid extreme cold or heat dur
-
ing storage to ensure the battery output
is not adversely affected.
Disposal and protection
of the environment
Remove the battery from the device and re-
cycle the device, accessories and packag
-
ing in an environmentally-friendly manner.
Instructions on how to dispose of the bat
-
tery can be found in the instruction manual
for your battery.
Machines do not belong with do-
mestic waste.
• Return the unit to a recycling centre.
The plastics and metals in the unit can
be sorted and appropriately recycled.
Ask our Service Centre for details.
• Defective units returned to us will be
disposed of for free.
