CAUTION!

Do not touch the hot nozzle .

Wear protective gloves!

Wear safety goggles .
■
Always disconnect the mains plug
from the socket during breaks in
work, before carrying out any work
on the appliance (e .g . changing the
attachment nozzle) and when not
in use .
■
Keep the nozzle at a distance from
the workpiece or the area being
processed . A build-up of hot air can
result in damage to the appliance .
■
The appliance must always be kept
clean, dry and free from oil or
grease .
■
Never use the appliance for pur-
poses other than the ones for which
it was designed .
Operation
Before use
Select temperature setting:
Use the temperature switch to choose between
three temperature settings depending on the
application .
Heating level 1: 100°C
Heating level 2: 350°C
Heating level 3: 650°C
Setting up (as hot air blower)
♦
Plug the mains plug into a suitable socket
(230 V alternating current) .
Switching the appliance on:
♦
Turn on the appliance by moving the ON/OFF
switch into the "I" position .
The appliance reaches its full operating
temperature after approx . 1 minute .
Switching the appliance off:
♦
Switch the appliance off by moving the ON/
OFF switch into the "O" position .
♦
After use, always place the appliance on its
stand on a flat, fireproof surface until the
hot parts of the appliance have cooled down .
♦
Pull the mains plug from the mains power
socket .
Turn handle
The appliance has two handle positions (see fig . A) .
Position 1 is suitable for destroying of weeds and
igniting barbecue charcoal .
Position 2 is suitable for use as a hot air gun .
To change the handle positions, proceed as
follows:

Press the locking knob and rotate the handle
to the desired position .
♦
Make sure that the locking knob has
relocked .
