a. Always keep the hot glue gun out of reach of children.
b. Keep the hot glue gun away from your face and away from your clothing when
lighting.
c. The nozzle and other accessible parts are very hot even after the flame has
gone out. Do not touch.
d. Do not expose the hot glue gun to heat more than 50°C or to sunlight for a
long time.
e. The hot glue gun is designed for private use in the hobby and craft area and
for brief durations and is not suitable for long-duration use. Switch off the hot
glue gun during breaks and after a maximum of half an hour of usage for
complete cooling by closing the gas supply regulator.
f. Never work overhead. Hot, molten glue could drip down and injure you.
g. Use the hot glue gun only in well-ventilated places and away from ignition
sources or flammable objects.
h. Do not use the hot glue gun if it is leaking or damaged, or if it is not working
properly.
i. Do not disassemble or open the hot glue gun.
j. Do not make any modifications to the hot glue gun. The assembly and factory
settings should not be altered. – Only replacement parts recommended by the
manufacturer may be used. It can be dangerous to modify the settings or make
changes to the hot glue gun, to remove parts or to use replacement parts other
than those recommended by the manufacturer.
k. Repairs to the hot glue gun should only be carried out by the manufacturer or
by an authorised service centre.
l. Switch off the hot glue gun and place it in its stand during breaks and when not
in use.
m. Wait for one minute after refilling before lighting the hot glue gun.
n. Be careful when using the hot glue gun near flammable materials and
remember that heat can be conducted to concealed flammable materials.
o. Never leave the hot glue gun unattended when switched on.
p. Ensure that the flame is completely extinguished after use. Open the stand of
the hot glue gun and allow the hot glue gun to cool down completely on the
stand before putting it away. Otherwise there is risk of fire.
q. The filled gas tank contains flammable pressurised gas. Take care not to
heat the refillable gas tank. Do not expose the hot glue gun to temperatures
exceeding 50°C / 120°F or to prolonged sunlight. Otherwise there is risk of
bursting or explosion.
r. Read the refilling instructions carefully. Incorrect refilling may lead to accidents.
