Do not blow or suck up materials that are hazardous to health!
Use of the device for other purposes is not permitted and may
lead to accidents or damage to the device. Do not make any
changes to the product – this can also lead to accidents or
damage to the device.
The device may only be used in the intended manner. Any
use beyond this is improper. The user/operator, not the manu-
facturer, is responsible for damages or injuries of any type
resulting from this.
An element of the intended use is also the observance of the
safety instructions, as well as the assembly instructions and
operating information in the operating manual.
Persons who operate and maintain the device must be familiar
with the manual and must be informed about potential dan-
gers.
In addition, the applicable accident prevention regulations
must be strictly observed.
Other general occupational health and safety-related rules
and regulations must be observed. The liability of the manu-
facturer and resulting damages are excluded in the event of
modifications of the device.
The device may only be operated with original parts and orig-
inal accessories from the manufacturer. The manufacturer’s
safety, operating and maintenance specifications as well as
the dimensions given in the technical data must be observed.
Please observe that our equipment was not designed with the
intention of use for commercial or industrial purposes. We as-
sume no guarantee if the equipment is used in commercial or
industrial applications, or for equivalent work.
6. Safety information
General safety information

WARNING
Read all safety information and instructions. Failure to ob-
serve safety information and instructions can result in fire and/
or serious injuries. Use only the fuels recommended in these
instructions. Do not use fuel that has not been correctly mixed
with 2-stroke engine oil. This can lead to a total loss and the
supplier’s warranty will be forfeited.
Save all warnings and instructions for future ref-
erence.
A) Briefing
• Read through this operating manual carefully. Familiarise
yourself with the controls and the proper use of the device.
Learn how to turn off the device in an emergency.
• Only use the device as intended for:

The movement and accumulation of leaves and grass of
various, but limited, weight and of small size, by blowing.

Vacuum collection of leaves and grass, various wastes
of limited weight and small size, excluding liquids of any
kind.

The device must not be used for collecting flammable
or explosive products, hot embers, ashes, burning ciga-
rettes and pieces of branches, sharp objects, metal ob-
jects, stones and other objects that could be dangerous
for the operator. This can result in injuries and can dam-
age the device.
• Never let children operate the device.
• Never operate the device whilst other persons, in particular
children or animals, are nearby.
• People who are unable to use the device safely due to their
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or due to their in-
experience or lack of knowledge, must not use this device
without supervision or instructions from a responsible per-
son. Children should not be left unattended, to ensure they
do not play with the device.
• Never permit other persons who are not familiar with these
operating instructions to use the device. Local regulations
may stipulate a minimum age for users.
• Do not use the device while tired or under the influence of
drugs, alcohol or medication. Do not use devices if you are
tired.
• If the device is passed on to a third party then pass all of the
documentation on with it.
• The user is responsible for accidents or hazards that hap-
pen to third parties or to their property.
B) General information
• Wear suitable sturdy, close-fitting work clothing.

Do not wear loose clothing or jewellery. Wear log trou-
sers to protect your legs.

Use a head covering if you have long hair.
-
Loose clothes, jewellery and long hair can be caught in
moving parts.

Wear safety shoes, gloves, safety goggles and a breath-
ing mask.

This machine is extremely loud. Wear hearing protection.
• Always switch off the device’s engine when putting the de-
vice down and before working on the device.
• Wear safety goggles when working.
• Wear a mask when carrying out dust-creating work.
• Never use the device with damaged protective devices or
shields
• Warning! Danger, fuel is highly flammable!

Store fuel in tanks specifically designed for this purpose.

Turn off the device and let it cool down for a few minutes
before adding fuel.

Do not smoke when filling the fuel or operating the de-
vice.
-
Open the fuel filler cap slowly to allow fuel vapours to
escape.
-
Only refuel outdoors. Fill the fuel mixture with the help
of a funnel.
-
Top up with fuel before starting the engine.
-
Never remove the fuel filler cap or fill fuel into the tank
while the engine is running or while the engine is hot.

If fuel is spilled, do not attempt to start the engine, but
move the device out of the area of the spilled fuel and
avoid all sources of ignition until all fuel vapours have
dissipated.

Wipe up spilled fuel immediately.
