8903/RS RS485 Communications Interface 

Step 2: Attaching Fieldbus Connectors 

Seven fieldbus connector types are available: 

FB Logic Input 

FB Integer Input 

FB Value Input 

 

FB Logic Output 

FB Integer Output 

FB Value Output 

FB Val to Int Output 

 

Input connector

: the data is sent from Master (PLC)

Output connector

: the data is sent from 890 

→

 Master (PLC) 

The fieldbus connectors must be added before they will appear in the RS485 function block. 

Note:

 

The function block and connectors can be renamed by using the right mouse button and 

selecting Rename Block.
