TDQ-150 Power Activation Options
The TDQ-150 can be turned on with either the On-Off button on its front panel, or the On and Off buttons
on the remote control. The TDQ-150 can also be turned on by applying a +12V DC voltage to the DC
trigger jack on the rear panel. When the DC trigger jack is connected, the On and Off commands from
the buttons on the front panel and remote control are defeated. The tuner automatically turns on whenever
AC voltage is applied. This makes it convenient to connect the TDQ-150 to a switched outlet. The TDQ-
150 depends on a continuously live AC line to power its preset memory, however it can maintain memory
for over a month if its AC source is inactive. Each time the tuner is operated, the energy storage for its
memory function is recharged.
