Commissioning
Open the battery compartment and insert two new alkaline batteries (type Mignon AA/LR06, 1.5 V) (not included in
delivery). Make sure that the polarity is correct. Close the compartment again. A signal tone sounds and radio reception
is immediately initiated and becomes visible by the flashing antenna on the display. If the signal is too weak and the
alarm clock cannot receive correct time information, move the alarm clock to another location and press the WAVE
button. If the alarm clock does not receive a signal, it is possible to set the alarm clock manually.
Manual time setting, 12/24-hour display, time zone setting and language selection
Press and hold the TIME button (left) for 2 seconds to enter the manual setting mode. The following settings are now
possible in succession: ON/OFF (radio reception on/off), 12-/24-hour display, time zone adjustment, hour, minute, date
format, year, month, day and language. With the UP key you can increase the respective values, with the DOWN key
decrease them accordingly. Pressing TIME again confirms the values and takes you to the next setting.
For the language, you can choose between German (GE), French (FR), Spanish (SP), Italian (IT), Dutch (DU), Danish
(DA), English (EN).
Setting the alarm
Press and hold the ALARM key for 2 seconds to enter the alarm setting mode. Use the UP button to increase the
respective value, and the DOWN button to decrease it accordingly. Please note that alarm time 1 and alarm time 2 are
set one after the other. Press the ALARM button again to confirm the values.
Switching the alarm on/off
To switch the alarm on, slide the ALARM 1 switch to the right to the ON position for alarm time 1. For alarm time 2, use
the ALARM 2 switch. The alarm time set in each case appears in the display. Slide the respective switch to the left to
switch the alarm off again.
