OPENING THE  SAFE  FOR THE  FIRST TIME

Open the override lock cover located in the middle of the panel. Insert the override key and turn counter-clockwise until it stops. 

Next turn the handle counter-clockwise to open the safe. 

INSTALLING BATTERIES

Open the battery compartment cover at the rear of the door. Install the batteries as shown on diagram (4 AA batteries). 

 

Close the battery compartment cover. 

SETTING AND CHANGING PERSONAL CODE

This system allows 2 sets of personal identification codes.

1. Open the door and press the “#” button on the LCD screen. LCD screen will show “-------” .

2. Next input the factory original password1234. After entering the password press “#” to confirm. The word “OPEN” will 

 

   appear on the LCD screen.

3. Press the “*” button rapidly, the LCD screen will show “-------” .

4. Now input your 3-6 digit personal identification code.

5. Press “#” to donfirm. LCD screen will show “-------” .

6. Reenter your personal identification code followed by the “#” to confirm. 

7. “IN” will appear on the LCD screen. You have successfully changed your personal code. 

    To add the second code follow the directions above using original password 123456. 

    

IMPORTANT:

 Change the two code sets together for your safety. 

 

8. Test your code before closing the door.

USING YOUR PERSONAL CODE TO OPEN THE SAFE

1.Press the “#” button on the keypad, the LCD screen will show “-------” .

2. Input your personal code using the keypad.

3. When “OPEN” appears on the LCD screen, turn the handle counter-clockwise within 10 seconds to open the safe. 

 

LOCKING THE  SAFE

Close the door and turn the handle clockwise. The door will lock automatically.

 

FORGOT YOUR PERSONAL CODE

You can startup the emergency system to open the safe. Unplug the emergency lock cover, insert the emergency key and turn 

counter-clockwise to open the safe. If teh batteries have expired, the external battery box can be used to open the safe. 

FACTORY RESET OF CODE

When the door is open, press the red button at the rear of the door. The system will restore the factory original password of 

“1234” and “123456”.

 

LOW VOLTAGE

Press the “#” button on the keypad, if the LCD screen says “LO-BAT” that indicates the batteries are low. Replace the expired 

batteries with fresh AA alkaline batteries.
