The device has a Class IIIB laser diode in the laser unit. You should not open the laser unit under any
circumstances to avoid exposure to the laser beam. Since radiation emitted inside the device is completely
confined within protective housings and external covers, the laser beam cannot escape during any phase of
normal user operation.
