Hazardous Areas
Due to their design, slot drilling and mortising machines can be used for a wide range of tasks. Exact right-angled
holes or the precise slotting of grooves can be precisely realised. With regard to occupational safety, the main
hazards are the mostly freely rotating drilling bit and inadequate clamping of the workpiece on the table top.

safety protection cover.
Electric shock

On the electrical system and
all current-carrying compo-

Avoid wetness / moisture

Have defective parts, cables and
insulation repaired immediately
(only by qualified personnel!)

Switch off and lock the main
switch or disconnect the machine
from the mains during any
maintenance or repair work.
Warning:
After the main switch has
been turned off, the FI is still ener-
gised for up to 15 minutes!
